After working at practices in Hong Kong, Melbourne, Singapore and London, Lam joined AHMM in 2006 to work on a mixed-use development in Tooley Street, London. Since then he has led the delivery of the University of Amsterdam project, a complex large-scale reinvention of two post-war university buildings for the university’s Roeterseiland campus. More recently he has been leading work on a major headquarters building for a multinational company. He has also contributed to a range of other schemes, including the development plan on a mixed-use cultural scheme of national significance and is a regular contributor to the design and technical development of projects through the practice’s peer review process. Lam was made an Associate in 2010 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2021.
