Stefan Rust
Associate

Stefan joined AHMM in 2012; prior to joining the practice he worked as both an urban designer and architect on several large scale residential-led masterplans in London including Nine Elms, Earls Court and the Greenwich Peninsula. He also gained experience working in the leisure sector on the refurbishment of two five-star central London hotels and a retail led masterplan on Brompton Road. At AHMM, Stefan was a key member of the Post Building team from initial concept stage to delivery. This mixed use redevelopment of the old West Central postal sorting office on New Oxford Street includes office space, ground floor retail and on site affordable housing. Stefan was also part of the team that gained planning consent for Hawley Wharf, a mixed use development of 170 affordable and private homes, a primary school for 210 pupils, incubator workspace, artisanal and industrial workshops in refurbished railway arches, a local cinema, a variety of retail units and a flexible and open multi-storey market building. Stefan is currently working on the extension and refurbishment of a Grade II listed building in London. He was promoted to Associate in 2021.
